This site has been created to honor the insanity that was known as the Shadowood Theater and those that worked there.
The main focus is on the stories that were created with our fellow staff members as the characters.
The idea to create these stories came from Ed Don, my friend and coworker. We were Assistant Managers of the Shadowood Theater
in Florida at the time. We were stressed out by work and sometimes by our employees. None of them were really bad but
they all had their little quirks. When you get all of these people together usually something odd happened. In order to
release this stress, Ed had the idea of creating these stories, and while telling the stories, poke fun at everyone. No
one was immune to us, but I must admit that some of the more scathing comments were left out for harmony's sake. At the
time these stories started the theater was owned by Wometco, and while it has changed hands many times since the place is
still haunted by abnormality.
When you read these please remember that some of the jokes are in-jokes and may seem a bit odd. Sorry, I couldn't edit them
to make them more universal. Also note that the bad grammar that was used is intentional. Especially when it is ALL WRONG.
If you care to, you may take your time reading since some of the mismatches are intentional and meant to make you say "What
the Hades?!?"
In addition, the idea was that these stories were read out loud at our Monthly Staff Meetings so, much of the typing was intended
for the reader to know how to structure the reading such as the breaks in the story that let him know when to pause.
